Custom Worktop Layouts
A custom worktop layout means the cut-outs in your cart's worktop are made to your own plan, before the cart is built. That matters because cut-outs cannot be added afterwards: the worktop is cut during production, so the layout has to be settled when you order.
What you are working with
The worktop is 1800 x 750 mm, made of a 1000 mm centre section and two 400 mm sections that fold out when you serve. Most people put equipment on the centre section and keep at least one fold-out side clear for service and handover.
The standard layouts
Our standard cut-out layouts are sized for a Barista Basic knock box and a Rhino pitcher rinser, which covers a large share of setups. Each layout is 50 euro. If your equipment matches one of these, you do not need a drawing at all.
Sending your own layout
A custom layout is cut from your own drawing for the same 50 euro as a standard one. To send it:
- Sketch the worktop as a rectangle of 1800 x 750 mm and mark where each cut-out goes, with the size of the opening and the distance from the edges in millimetres.
- If you already own the equipment, give us the make and model of the knock box, pitcher rinser or sink, and we check the fit ourselves.
- Save it in any format. A PDF, a photo of a hand drawing or a scan all work.
- Send it through the custom worktop layout form, or email it to info@cartssify.com.
- We check it against the worktop and send you a proof to approve before production starts.
If you need a sink
Water and drainage are a different job from a cut-out. The Sink Edition comes with a prepared side box already routed for a fresh water inlet, a waste water line and cables.
